Area Service meets the first Sunday of every month at Club Serenity 702 Fallowfield Ave in Charleroi at 9am. You do not have to be a GSR to attend.
The Web Committee now meets on the second Sunday of the month on zoom at 11am Meeting ID 78862968919 Pw Web1953
H&I meets the last (or the 4th) Sunday of every month @ 5pm at The Vanderbilt Borough Building 196 Main Street Vanderbilt, Pa 15486.
Next workshop will be held in December.
There was discussion regarding H&I coordination and the need to make sure responsibilities are covered and that the appropriate individuals are available to assist with the service work.
Members were encouraged to continue supporting H&I service work and to remain involved in carrying the message to individuals who may not otherwise have access to meetings
RCM Report:
We are in need of someone to fill the RCM position.
There are still Vacant Positions at Area that need to be filled:
Election to all Trusted Servant positions requires an NA Homegroup, an NA Sponsor, working knowledge of the Twelve Steps, Twelve Traditions, and Twelve Concepts of Narcotics Anonymous and the willingness to serve. Previous involvement at ASC, ex: GSR or being involved in a subcommittee before being nominated for a Trusted Servant position is suggested. Please come prepared with a nomination from your NA homegroup as well as having read the bylaws and information about the position you wish to fill.
NOMINATIONS:
Bernie B has an automatic nomination for Chair. He is the current Vice Chair. His clean date is 2-15-23, he has a working knowledge of the NA Steps, Traditions and Concepts and he has a NA homegroup and sponsor.
Justin C is being nominated for the Vice Chair position. His clean date is 7-17-24, he has a working knowledge of the NA Steps, Traditions and Concepts and he has a NA homegroup and sponsor.

Alternate RCM - 2 years

MOTIONS:
A motion was made to approve a $500 donation to Region.
The donation was approved.
A proposal was discussed to change the meeting time for the first-Sunday Area meeting. The proposed time was 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The proposed schedule change was discussed by members.
It was decided that the proposal would be taken back to the individual home groups for discussion and consideration before a final decision was made.
The website, newsletter, and events page would also need to be updated if the schedule change is approved.
Members were reminded that the home groups should have an opportunity to discuss the proposed change and provide feedback.

Mark from Dope to Hope is willing to give newcomers and anyone else in need, a ride to the convention. See GSR after the meeting if you have any questions. (GSR’s have access to his contact info through Google Groups.)
All About Change, and Just for Tonight are in need of support. They have low meeting attendance. Last Chance meeting is in need of active homegroup members.
