Area Service meets the first Sunday of every month at Club Serenity 702 Fallowfield Ave in Charleroi at 9am. You do not have to be a GSR to attend.

H&I meets the Last Sunday of every month @ 5pm at The Vanderbilt Borough Building 196 Main Street Vanderbilt, Pa 15486

• There are still open panel leader positions.

• There have been discussions about reestablishing the meetings at the women’s jail.

RCM Report:

• RCM’s met last month from 10:30am - 1pm. All positions at Regional level will be opening up in June. All positions and descriptions are listed on the website. if interested, speak to your homegroup about a nomination in April so that it can be brought to Regional.

• Regional Web Committee is in desperate need of a new Chair.

• There are 7 open positions on the Board of Directors and 4 open positions on the Start to Live Committee.

• The current Regional Delegate will be running for a 2nd term.

• Multiple motions were made during the meeting. Motion to have a new Start to Live Committee was not passed. A change in policy/finance guidelines was passed and a 5,000$ donation to BOD was also passed.

• The 2027 Convention will be back at Seven Springs. There will be a slight increase in admission to make up for lack of participation.

• The Spiritual Retreat will be held in May. Cabins are being booked fast, if you want to book one act now.

• There will be a CAR workshop held on March 15th at Club Serenity

There are still Vacant Positions at Area that need to be filled:

• Election to all Trusted Servant positions requires an NA Homegroup, an NA Sponsor, working knowledge of the Twelve Steps, Twelve Traditions, and Twelve Concepts of Narcotics Anonymous and the willingness to serve. Previous involvement at ASC, ex: GSR or being involved in a subcommittee before being nominated for a Trusted Servant position is suggested. Please come prepared with a nomination from your NA homegroup as well as having read the bylaws and information about the position you wish to fill.

  NOMINATIONS:

• Sarah F has an automatic nomination for Literature Chair. Her clean date is 8-17-24. She does not meet clean time requirements, and this will need to be discussed with the homegroup. Her qualifications are- She has a Na sponsor and homegroup and she has a working knowledge of the 12 steps, traditions and concepts. She has been in the vice literature positions for 3 months and the last 2 months has performed the duties of Literature Chair in the absence of one.

• Jamie S was nominated for Vice Literature Chair. His clean date is 8-27-18. His qualifications are- He has a Na sponsor and homegroup and he has a working knowledge of the 12 steps, traditions and concepts. He has held both Literature Chair and Vice Literature Chair positions in the past.

Group Announcements:

• Thursday Night Recovery start time has been changed to 7pm

• Please remember if you want to have your event or any other announcements put on the website it has to be submitted to either the Secretary (Alicia W.), our Facebook page (WE Area of NA) or emailed to us at wearea1953@gmail.com BEFORE Tuesday. If not, it will be added the following week.
