Area Service meets the first Sunday of every month at Club Serenity 702 Fallowfield Ave in Charleroi at 9am. You do not have to be a GSR to attend.

The Web Committee now meets on Zoom the first Sunday of every month at 5pm. Zoom login details are available on the area website.

  • You can read all of our literature, see events and flyers, find information about service, find a meeting with a link to directions, send an email directly to the web committee, and more.

  • You can now sign up for the member newsletter on the website to get all of the important information about our area delivered to your email each month!

H&I meets the Last Sunday of every month @ 5pm at The Vanderbilt Borough Building 196 Main Street Vanderbilt, Pa 15486

  • Angel’s Light is no longer allowing observers to go in to the H&I meetings

  • Positions in the Men’s Jail are open and need to be filled

There are Vacant Positions at Area that need to be filled:

  • Activities Chair - 2 Years Cleantime

  • RCM - 2 Years Cleantime (including 1 Year GSR experience)

  • Additional Needs Chairperson - 2 years cleantime

  • Public Relations Chairperson - 2 years cleantime

  • Vice Secretary - 2 years cleantime

  • BOD Rep - 4 years cleantime

Group Announcements:

  • There are Several meetings in the area in need of a GSR including the Whatever It Takes meeting that meets at 137 Castner Ave in Donora on Tuesday nights at 7pm. If you would like to serve at the group level these would be great opportunities! (If there are any other groups in need of a GSR that would like to be listed in the newsletter please let the web chair know through the “contact us” form on the website.)

  • Tuesday Night Meeting Room 2nd Annual Picnic June 10th 4-7pm Dunlap Creek Lake Uniontown, Pa (Opposite side from the bait shop, pavilion closest to the dam by the rest rooms) What to Bring? The desire to stop using. Covered dishes and beverages are also welcome.

  • Shine the Light on Recovery Speaker Jam and Dance June 14th 1pm-8pm Mercy Anchor Community Center 1012 East 28th St Erie, Pa 16504 Door Prize Raffle of STL Memorabilia - Food will be sold - Registration and Merchandise will be available.

  • NA Renzie Park 6th Anniversary June 22 @ 10am Renzie Park McKeesport, Pa 15132 Pavilion #5 Food, Fun, and Fellowship at 10am - Meeting at 11am Covered dishes welcome

  • Saturday Night Fever Presents: The Fourth Annual Weiner Fever June 28th 3-8PM First United Presbyterian Church 4281 Route 6N Edinboro, Pa 16412 Speaker at 7pm Bring a Dish to Share - Weiners and Some Drinks Provided

  • A New Way to Live’s 4th of July Picnic Meeting July 4, 2025 St.Marks Lutheran Church 126 W Pennsylvania Ave New Stanton, Pa 15672 Food, Fun, and Fellowship @ 6pm - Speaker @ 7pmCovered dishes welcome!
