Area Service meets the first Sunday of every month at Club Serenity 702 Fallowfield Ave in Charleroi at 9am. You do not have to be a GSR to attend.

H&I meets the last (or the 4th) Sunday of every month @ 5pm at The Vanderbilt Borough Building 196 Main Street Vanderbilt, Pa 15486.

• If you want to have an H&I workshop at your event, please reach out to the H&I chair in advance.

• H&I is in need of support. They have several open positions that need to be filled.

• There will be an H&I workshop at the Saturday night picnic on July 12th at 4:15pm.

There are still Vacant Positions at Area that need to be filled:

• Election to all Trusted Servant positions requires an NA Homegroup, an NA Sponsor, working knowledge of the Twelve Steps, Twelve Traditions, and Twelve Concepts of Narcotics Anonymous and the willingness to serve. Previous involvement at ASC, ex: GSR or being involved in a subcommittee before being nominated for a Trusted Servant position is suggested. Please come prepared with a nomination from your NA homegroup as well as having read the bylaws and information about the position you wish to fill.

  The RCM was absent for 2 consecutive Area meetings; they will have the opportunity to be voted back into their position next month

  ‍ Group Announcements:

• Please remember if you want to have your event or any other announcements put on the website it has to be submitted to either the Facebook page or emailed to us at wearea1953@gmail.com. Website committee will no longer meet on Tuesdays. They will now be meeting

  the second Sunday of the month at 3pm.

• Website Committee is in need of members.

• Surrender the fight is fixed is no longer handicap accessible.

• Surrender the Fight is Fixed, Thursday Nights Recovery, Rebel’s Redemption, Whatever it Take’s and Last Chance are in need of support. They have low attendance.

• Meeting lists were given out. If there are any changes that need to be made, please submit them before July. If they are not submitted before July, they will not be added/fixed until the next printing month

Upcoming Events:

• Mon Valley Picnic Sunday July 19th from Noon to 5 Located at Pine Cove Swim Club 1495 Toute 481 Charleroi, Pa 15022 Swimming is paid for by the individual 10$ each. Cover dishes are welcome and much appreciated!

• Regional H&I Picnic July 25th from 11am-4pm Located at Bellevue Memorial Park- Bragdon Shelter 320 Bellevue Rd Pittsburgh, Pa 15229 Workshops on H&I and PI- H&I Speakers- Free food, fun, and fellowship- Swimming- and a Cornhole Tournament

• Brownsville There is a Place Group 32nd Annual Picnic August 16th from 12pm-7pm Located at Redstone Community Park H&I workshop at 2pm, Speaker at 4p Covered dishes are welcome!

• New Way of Life Speaker Jam Luau Presented by Start to Live 43 August 29th 12p to 6p Located at 212 N. Mill St New Castle Pa 16101 Food will be sold, Merchandise and Registration available

Please discuss at your Homegroup’s Group Conscience/ Business Meeting:

• Please discuss open Area and H&I positions with your homegroup members and encourage them to get involved!!!
